Having you with us on our Wedding Day is the best gift we could ask for, but if you wish to gift us something, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.

The Answers Your Looking For

Can we bring children?

With the limitations on capacity at our venue, the volume of guests invited that have children and the hopes of our day running as smoothly as possibly sadly no children are able to attend the wedding except the children who are participating in the ceremony and children who are travelling overseas to attend with parents.

What should we wear?

We want you to feel comfortable and at your best on the day, whether that’s full sequin or bright pink! It’s New Year’s Eve so feel free to go all out. We would just kindly ask that you avoid white & black where possible.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes lots! When you head up the lane to the venue the road naturally takes you to where you need to park. There are no marked bays in the parking area so please park courteously to allow enough space for all the guests travelling by car as we expect a lot of cars to be parking at the venue.

We’re staying over, what time can we check in?

All accommodation will be ready to check into from 3pm on the day. Please leave all luggage in your cars until then. Staff at the venue will point you in the direction of your accommodation once it is ready for you. Check out is 10am the day after.

More coach information

The first coach will leave from Kendal at 11:00am and Second coach at 6pm. If you are late for the coach it will not wait and you will not be refunded. If you book a seat on the coach it’s important you arrive early so everyone can attend on time. If there aren’t enough seats filled on either coaches there may be a chance that the transport is cancelled. If any transport is cancelled by us, you will be refunded. We just want to offer this as an extra for our guests but if the majority don’t need the coach then it won’t be viable to have them running on the day.

What time should we arrive?

We recommend arriving no later than 12:30pm to allow you enough time to grab a drink and find a seat for the ceremony which begins at 1pm. If you are running late and arrive past 1pm do not enter the ceremony barn under any circumstances, please wait in the bar area and you can join the celebrations after the ceremony. We are getting married in Winter so please take weather conditions into consideration when planning your journey and allow extra time for travel if conditions aren’t favourable.

Pictures & Social Media

We know so many of you will want to take pictures to remember our special day and we’re happy for you to snap away all day except during the ceremony. No pictures or phones during our ceremony please and absolutely no pictures of the bride and groom can be posted on social media until the day after the wedding. Our wedding day is intimate and intended to be personal to us and the attendee’s and would like to keep it as private as possible. Thank you for understanding 🖤

Can I bring a plus one?

The only guests invited are the ones who are named in the message we sent you before the website link. Anybody who attends that haven’t been named in the invitation will be asked to leave

Venue Policy’s and Rules

The venue has strict policy’s on behaviour at their venue and it’s important I share them with everybody. The venue has zero tolerance for violence & drug use. Anybody suspected of drugs in their possession or under the influence of drugs will be asked to leave immediately, regardless of your relationship to the bride & groom. Anybody who is behaving in an aggressive manor will also be asked to leave immediately, regardless of their relationship to the bride & groom. There are still going to be some children at venue in the day & evening and a lot of time, love & money has gone into planning our wedding so please be considerate of this, the children and the venue.

Please RSVP by 31st May 2026
